Application Schedule

Colleges and universities interested in starting a writing project site should begin by filing a formal letter of intent. If the request is approved, the NWP will send the applicant a Potential Sites Packet and an application for the next eligible application period. Letters of intent are accepted throughout the year.

Currently we are accepting Letters of Intent for applications due September 15, 2008. Successful applicants will receive awards for local summer institutes beginning Summer 2009.

Application Schedule

Applications are distributed according to the following schedule:

For letters of intent received October 1 through April 30:

• Potential Sites Packet mailed with application
• Application due the following September.

For letters of intent received May 1 through September 30:

• Potential Sites Packet mailed without application
• Application mailed October 1
• Application due the following September.
