The National Writing Project at Work monograph series documents how the NWP model is developed and implemented at local sites across the country. Each monograph provides a developmental picture of a local program from the initial idea through planning, implementation, and refinement.

The monograph series gives a window into the complexity of needs and interests of teachers, and into the challenges of designing relevant professional development that supports teachers' efforts to improve learning for all students.
