Video Features Mississippi Students Writing Letters to the Next President

They won't be voting Nov. 4, but some Tupelo High School junior English students will have a national stage to air their concerns in written word and video.

Thursday, Ellen Shelton's Advanced Placement English classes shared their experiences as part of Letters to the Next President project with a video crew from Google.

Tupelo High School was one of three schools chosen to be videotaped from nearly 800 participating in the joint project of the National Writing Project and Google Docs, said Elyse Eidman-Aadahl, director for national programs and site development. Five schools in Mississippi are part of the project.
